I love Easter, so do the kids!
A typical Easter for us would include an amazing week of church services where we remember that Jesus came to Earth to die for our sins so we can be saved. The children’s choir reciting poems and singing songs. And a nice, quite family meal together.
We’d also have a huge egg hunt at the local park with all our neighbors from the estate; a day packed with crafts and a petting zoo.
And of course, our own egg hunt at home where the kids go crazy finding a bunch of eggs only to be disappointed that they can’t actually eat them all in one day. They need to work out how to stretch the supply as there won’t be any more chocolate till the following year :p
But this year is a little different. This year Church services will be cancelled, the neighborhood event cancelled too! Depending on what happens with the COVID-19 virus, we might not even have an egg hunt in the backyard!
This year is going to be a very “isolated Easter” for many of us. It’s sad, I’m praying it will all come to an end very soon 🙂
Knowing many parents are in the same boat, I’ve put together a little “Whilst in Lock down” booklet of fun Easter Coloring pages for younger children, to keep them busy for a little while. Of course, older ones might enjoy it also, but the pictures do not have a lot of detail, so they are very perfect for children who are still working on fine mother skills.
They are the perfect Easter Coloring pages for Pre-schoolers and Kindergartners.
Because my little princess has started her learning this year, I wrote her name in highlighter first, then had her trace it to help her remember how it is done.
Your little one might be an expert at writing his or her name, so you won’t need to worry about this step.
There are enough designs to keep you going for a little while, and I hope your little treasures will have lots of fun with them!
