Teaching Colors – Turkey Themed

We have been learning lots about colors in school lately, and there are so many fun ways to do it!

One of the ways that really gave us a good time, was this Turkey Themed color sorting mat.

To make things a little easier, we didn’t put all the feathers out, we selected a few colors and spread them around

The feathers with the clip art were the first preference, so we started with that. We picked the white pumpkin and placed it on the mat. I then scattered all the white item feathers and mixed in a few other colors.

Finding the right colors was lots of fun, we did all 10!

Then we stepped up to the next challenge. Matching the shades.

This was just as much fun as finding the items.

You can get a copy of this super fun and educational game HERE.

And if you would like to create your own games, printables, decor etc. click the list below to find the graphics I have used:

The colored items are mostly from a variety of clip art sets from my collection – mostly my Alphabet Items Bundle, which I will add to this site soon.
